Reshaping perceptions of education

Join us in transforming lives in Jabgadi, Nepal

Welcome

Welcome to CLCR’s second school Heartland Academy Palpa, nestled in the remote hills of Jabgadi, Nepal. Over 90 children from nursery through Grade 5 thrive here in a nurturing, positive and child-centred environment.

Principal: Hemraj Dawadi

Where We Differ

We focus on equal opportunities for girls and boys, educating children from lower castes and disadvantaged backgrounds. Parents trust us instead of sending their children to distant towns, keeping them connected to their land and family.

Challenging the Present

Remote Nepalese schools often lack resources, facilities and training. Heartland Palpa equips students with skills and mindsets to navigate the future. We focus on curiosity, creativity, communication, critical thinking and technology in an interactive, safe classroom.

Our Vision

We aim to create a supportive learning environment where every student can reach their full potential. Our approach:

  • New School Building: Expanding capacity up to Grade 8 and linking with Heartland Kathmandu for higher education.
  • Teacher Development: Investing in training to improve teaching quality.
  • Technology-Enabled Learning: Providing laptops, AV equipment and interactive resources.
